How to start Nautilus on Ubuntu

NOTE: Tested on Ubuntu 9.04

  • Press the Key Combination ALT+F2 together to launch the Run Application window.
  • Type in “gksudo nautilus” and click on Run to execute the command.gksudo nautilus
  • Nautilus should now be started
