How to increase the Server Timeouts in MS Outlook 2007

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook 2007
  2. Click on the Tools Menu
  3. Within the Tools menu, click on the Account Settings menu item
  4. Double click on the prefered E-Mail Account where the timeout needs to be increased
  5. Click on the More Settings button
  6. Click on the Advanced Tab
  7. Move the Server Timeouts slider to Long
  8. Click OK and then Next and Finish
  9. Restart Microsoft Outlook 2007
