WordPress installation
I used Softaculous to install WordPress on my shared hosting account. During installation, Softaculous prompted me to:
- Select website protocol.
- Specify primary domain.
- Enter the directory where you want Softaculous to save.
- Enter site name, site description, admin username, password and a branded email address.
It also displayed advanced options to set database name, password, DB username, option to send installation details to a specific email address, and checkboxes to enable WordPress multisite mode and install a plugin to limit login attempts.
