We specialize in the development of various different Content Management Systems (CMS) which enable our clients to effectively manage their own websites after launch. CMS based websites provide an administration panel where page updates and other site enhancements can be made without HTML knowledge or technical coding. Some of the CMS software we have customized and implemented for clients include Drupal, WordPress, Boonex Dolphin, vBulletin, Invision Power Board and Joomla.
WordPress was originally conceived as a blogging platform. As it has developed, it has become a very popular CMS for small to medium sized websites. WordPress has extensive third party application and plugin support and is has been designed to be extremely easy for the end-user to manage. We have developed several WordPress sites, which can be viewed in our web portfolio section of the site.
Drupal is a well established CMS and is commonly used in larger business web sites. While there is more of a learning curve to management of this platform, it’s potential for expansion and flexibility make it a popular choice for larger corporate websites. We have developed various solutions for clients in the past using the Drupal platform.
Joomla is a popular CMS which has developed significantly over recent years. Like Drupal and WordPress, there are a large number of third part applications and plugins available for the platform. Joomla is the ideal platform for highly dynamic websites which publish news and updates regularly.
Boonex Dolphin is a Social Networking platform which is best suited towards social based sites and dating / personal systems. As with the above CMS systems, Dolphin is also Open Source and has an active development community. NIDating, which was developed by Carnaghan LLC uses the Dolphin platform for it’s matchmaking system.
